Thanks a bunch!
Jeff and Mary - Thanks so much for making our fishing club''s time at the cabins so enjoyable. In spite of the inclement weather and tough fishing conditions we all had a great time. The cabins were great, and your going the extra mile for us really proved you are both A-1 professionals and superb hosts. Looking forward to coming back in the future! Tight lines! Alec

Great Time
Mary/Jeff, It has been hard getting back to work when you guys made my Maine Bear Hunting trip one of most memorable ones I will never forget. The food was great with some of the best home cooked meals I ever had - the homemade pies brought back great memories of days gone bye. The accommodations were perfect and fit the atmosphere to a T. The Bear was only a bonus to a great Couple and a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy. You guys are truly the best. Once again thank you and I look forward to visiting your camp again and again. Thank You Kevin

In all my travels this is the spot to re-discover your self and catch the beauty of the outdoors. If you like smallmouth fishing, eagles, beavers and peace, go here. Everything is the way you want a wilderness trip to go with the ability to sleep, shower and eat in tranquility with a small town near by. Expect to catch 6 bass per hour per person if you fish hard-most of your time will be navigating the fast waters. My fourth trip and hopefully not my last. Everything was just perfect for my wife and I. If you are an eater, Mary is a great cook. Best no fuss bait is a slim perch crankbait. Fish run .75-2.5#. Very tranquil fishing trip. Thank you Jeff and Mary Jerry

We have operated our guide service from Mary and Jeff''s Penobscot River Cabins for several years now. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for 3 weeks each Fall. Jeff and Mary have been more than accomodating and did all we could ask for. Their frendliness and willing to help any way they could was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a place to spend a quiet week fishing or taking side trips to a few special Maine outdoor locations Penobscot River Cabins is the place you should stay. This is the best place in Maine in my opinion to spend a week''s vacation. The fishing is great, the town of Lincoln is small and friendly, nice public beaches and most of all the new owners are awesome. The hospitality they showed us last year was above superb.

My wife and I visited "Dads" each year for several years before our kid were born and once again since then. We loved the affordable rates and excellent fishing along with a truly pristine location loaded with eagles and other wildlife. We were deeply saddened to find that dad had passed on our last visit and saw that his wife was stuggling to keep the place up. We wish the new owners much success at this location and may book a long weekend again soon as the kids are almost old enough to spend that much time in the boat (and without a tv). As mentioned, the fishing was fantastic but if you bring your own boat, beware - the Penobscott rock gardens have taken their share of props and lower units. Take advantage of being "ferried" a few miles up river so you can drift through less pressured water and experience more of the river. Bring all your favorite tackle because there is not much to choose from north of Bangor except a Walmart in Lincoln. I''ve also considered trying the r

Hello i visited the camps twice back 2001 and 2002 and it was absolutely wonderful. The fishing was the best i have ever experienced, our group of 4 averaged 50 to 75 fish per day each!!! But equally impressive was the family atmosphere and home cooking that DAD"S CAMPS provided. They were wonderful people and i was truely sadened when DAD passed away. I since have moved to Tennessee from Massachusetts, but i hope to make it up there in the future for a spring smallmouth trip. I am very glad to see the rates have not changed much and i hope the new ownership is as friendly as the past owners. I hope all goes well with y''all.
